Has anyone been to see Mr Rehan Salim?

Hi, I have had 2 miscarriages, one at 9 weeks and one at 12 weeks. I have a 3 yr old DD and had a straightforward pregnancy with her, both miscarriages were after her. I was at UCH in London and they recommended I go and privately see Mr Salim so I have booked an appt next week. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of seeing him/what he will ask me/do?
Thanks

Hello, there are quite a few of us being treated by him at the moment. Pop over to this thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/miscarriage/1205067-Recurrent-MC-Testing-and-beyond-Part-5-continues-here?msgid=25140924#25140924 - there is lots of info and discussion on there about what to expect/ask etc.

Those of us who are under his treatment are also on this thread as well if you want to pop over and join us. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/1236324-TTC-pregnancy-on-Prednisolone-or-similar

Thanks. I went to see him and he was very reassuring.

Sorry, I got confused. We are being treated by Dr Shehata, although the reason I got confused was that I saw Mr Salim prior to that at UCH which is why the name was already familiar. He is a lovely man. Unfortunately the tests he ran didn't show anything up for me personally, hence the subsequent treatment by Dr Shehata now.

Just to say though, the sonographer who Mr Salim referred me to for my investigative scan referred to him as "The Miracle Man" so fingers crossed he can help you. Best of luck.
