I found out i was pregnant last mon. I had what i thought was a light period the weekend prior, but for some reason i just felt not right so took a test and was positive. shocked to say the least. I have then had yet another light period this weekend with minor bleed during the week. i went to the doctors today to get checked out and they have refered me to the EPU unit. I seemed to have left the surgery more confused than when i went in!!!

The EPU will probably scan you but, if you're less than 6 weeks pg then they probably won't be able to see anything and you'll probably be sent away to wait it out for a week or two until a scan would be more useful. Not great but not a lot else they can do that early.

Bleeding is v common in early pregnancy though so it could well be fine. Good luck :)
