hi girls, I thought I was 7 weeks pg, on Thursday morn I went to the toilet and after a bowel movement I wiped (at the front just in case any confusion) and saw very slight very pale beige/pale pink/slightly pale orange discharge, only a tiny tiny amount and nothing else all day, the same happened yesterday morning exactly the same way, bit worried as know this can be start of a miscarriage and so went to the EPU yesterday and had a transvaginal scan and an ultrasound scan not good news, struggled to see anything and asked if I has wind and constipation?? eventually found a gestational sac measuring 17mm but no yolk or fetal pole? have to go back in a week as unsure of dates (could be 6 weeks or 7 weeks), last period first day either 19th march or 26th march and cycles approx 30 days, got a BFN around 11th april and a BFP on 20th april. I did a preg test last night and immediately got a strong BFP and I still have morning sickness and sore breasts. No cramping, no discharge today or bleeding. Am thinking the worst, she said she couldn't call it anembryonic preg for sure as couldn't see properly because of wind and unsure of dates so could be too early? she was 90% sure it didn't look good and said that if the sac measured 20mm she would be 100% sure, had good cry last night but am ok surprisingly, don't know if it's because I've been here before (MMC at 12 weeks baby size 9 weeks was devastated) so was conscious not to get hopes up also cos I am 44 or if it's because at the back of my mind there is still a glimmer of hope no matter how small. Just cluthing at straws if anyone had the same symptoms but got a positive outcome?

If you want some positive outcomes then there are many on the misdiagnosed miscarriage website, it helped me through several m/c's to read the stories with happy endings. Hope it helps you as you wait to find out if all is well.

anembryonic pregnancies also called blighted ovums are commonly misdiagnosed early. ~I hope you end up with a positive story too.
