Is it normal to feel pain in Ovary after ERPC?

It's a few days since I had the procedure and I can feel a sharp pain in my right ovary.

Is this normal?

I had the most terrible afterpains (can't remember if that's the correct term??) following my most recent MC. They were sharp pains that took my breath away - mostly in my right side but also more mildly on my left. They had me doubled over with tears in my eyes.

Think they came on a couple of days after my ERPC and lasted, on and off, for a couple of days. I never had them with my successful pregnancy, or with my first MC which I also had an ERPC for, but after speaking with a few people I realised that they fitted with the afterpain thing.

Not sure if that's the same sort of feeling that you are describing?

I had ERPC last Wednesday and had pains in left side of tummy yesterday but seems much better today. Didn't have this after first ERPC. Hope it's normal as have had enough of doctors and hospitals for a while.

Firstly - sorry that you have had to go through this.

I had this procedure and remember I did have pains like you describe but the hospital discharged me with strong painkillers which I took regularly for a few days which really helped. However if this persists go back. A week after the ERPC my pains returned and I had retained tissue which did eventually come away naturally but you may be at risk of infection so keep an eye on it especially if the bleeding continues.
