Questions about discharge and cycle (Really TMI - bit graphic, sorry!) after ERPC

Hello, I had an ERPC on 14 December. It's been 7 weeks and still no period. A couple of weeks ago I had a tiny amount of red spotting, followed by a couple of days of very dark brown bitty/clotty material in watery discharge. Then nothing. Slight cramps, well, more twinges really in the last 24 hours and thought my period was coming, then last night really large chunky dense milky white gelatinous lumps - urghh! No bad smell at all and not like any thrush symptoms I've ever had. They weren't in any creamy discharge just big chunks, almost dry apart from their own yeuch texture. WTF? Today there's hardly any, just a few very small lumps in watery discharge again. I'm a bit baffled by this and slightly concerned.

This was my 6th pregnancy loss and I've not experienced anything like this after any of the previous ones and have got my period on within pretty much exactly 6 weeks each time.

Any ideas or similar experiences?

I have no idea kittens but really think you should talk to your doctor about it as that doesn't sound normal. I have had one ERPC and had one 'natural' miscarriage and that hasn't happened to me with either. Good luck x

Is there any chance you could be pregnant again? I had a ERPC last March and started my period about 4-5 weeks later.

I am not sure whats going on either (its the colour that is really throwing me ) but I can understand your torment at wanting AF. As someone who was made to wait forever for AF after ERPC I would encourage you to ask your doctor for a dose of progesterone and see what happens.

I waited till 16 weeks until I did the provera challenge (failed, I had Ashermans Syndrome, it took a further two months to get diagnosed and treated but I am all good now) In hindsight, I shouldnt have waited so long. I knew something was not right. You know your body, doctors tend to think that things can go all haywire with your hormones at any moment, and that "wait and see" is the best approach but if you have always been regular before then there its weird that AF would show up late now.

Have you done an HPT and got a negative? Could you still be expelling things and not yet started cycling normally?

Thanks for your comments. I haven't been able to get to the doctors today as I've been working. The 'symptoms' have gone now, although I have had mild discomfort so maybe it was thrush but it's not like any thrush I've had before. I've also had some mild cramps so I might wait over the weekend to see if my period shows up and then go to the doctor on Monday if not and tell him what's been going on the meantime.

I did think it may be things settling down/shedding etc, it's just not like any of my previous experiences. I couldn't help but laugh at MummyAbroad's wording "not yet started cycling normally" - if you saw me on a bicycle you'd understand why that's so funny. I'm 41 years old and can't really ride a bike!

I hope both sorts of cycling get sorted out soon!
