Could a one-off bleed 4 weeks after ERPC be a period?

Of course no-one will know this, but maybe someone has experienced the same..
ERPC a month ago, on Sunday (about 30 days after) had red bleed when at loo that only happened once. Not spotting though, bleeding.
And nothing since.
Trying to figure it out as of course I am wanting to count till the next ovulation in my attempts to get started again..
So, is AF still laughing waiting to get me, or could that be it?

Sorry I can't answer your question. I'm similarly confused but for different reasons about the return of my period.

But, I thought I would suggest buying a month's worth of cheapy OPK sticks from ebay or homehealth-uk.com and just testing everyday to see if you ovulate in what you think could be this new cycle. That's probably the only way to know for sure if you are starting a new cycle.

as you say, alas it's impossible to know for sure...
but, after my first ERPC, I think only bled for about a week and then about ten days later I had a bright red gush early one morning (still a stain on the mattress Angry) that I initially thought was the start of AF. Wasn't. Got my first proper AF exactly one calendar month after op.

2nd ERPC I bled and then spotted, and then tiny dribbled, for a month. Never stopped, but went straight into an AF type bleed (length and volume). Think you're told to discount this as a period as it's really still recovery from surgery IYSWIM.

So in short, dunno. But I know your frustration at wanting to get back to "normal" to start TTC again. Good luck x

Thanks, it's nice to hear what a variety of experiences there are post ERPC!
I'm stressing because I need to visit relatives for a few days, and would prefer not to be away from sperm DH at the wrong time, so really wanted to be able to calculate the right days!
Not sure why I expected anything to be simple..

Well, if it's just a few days - do lots of shagging in the couple of days before you leave and do OPK tests whilst you are away. Sperm lives for up to 5 days and if you do happen to get your surge whilst you are away you can straight back to business when you get home! And if you don't then just keep testing until you know what's going on. The tests only cost a few quid for a months worth.

I like your style havingkittens!
(You mean I don't have to attempt to freeze some sperm in tupperware and bring it on the plane?!)
