Has anyone had recurrent m/c after dc1 and gone on to have dc2?

Sorry if this has been done before, but am having a 'need to know right NOW' day about whether I'm likely to get an answer to why I've had 3 mc's after ds1 (2.3). All at 5-7 weeks. I've been told to wait two cycles post-mc before having the clotting tests and will then have to wait another two months for the results. I'm wondering whether to pay privately for nk cell testing.

Has anyone had recurrent mc after dc1 and been given a reason?

If not, did you go on to have anymore dc?

Just keep reading about women having 3mc then immediately getting pg again successfully. It's really making me question my decision to hold off ttc while we wait for these bloody slow tests.

I had my third mc two weeks ago and have to wait a couple of cycles till I can do the tests for clotting disorders. I'm also still waiting for my appointment with the consultant at my local hospital to come through. I don't think they'll test for auto-immune issues. So if the chromosome and clotting tests come back normal I'll have to decide if I want to go private - or face another long wait to get referred to Mr Shehata via my gp.
I have no idea whether my consultant recognises auto-immune problems as a cause of recurrent mc - I'm aware that it varies from consultant to consultant. My appointment is probably about 4 months away so I'm trying to do as much research as possible leading up to then. In the meantime I've stopped ttc as I really don't want to chance a 4th mc.
The epu nurse who referred me for all the tests did suggest low-dose aspirin (75mg) from when I get a positive pregnancy test if I wanted to keep ttc.
