Glad to see your bleeding has slowed down, it is pretty shocking the amount of blood and clots and pain that can occur. I hope it starts to tail off for you now.

Sorry about your mum, just ignore her. Cupoftea sorry about your mum too - MN is the only thing getting me through my MC, I seriously don't know what I would do without it.

Take care and be gentle to yourself xx

How are you now totally ?

nevercansaygoodbye · 03/11/2010 21:00

totally - so sorry you had to go through this and it was so scary - when I first read your post I thought you should get to hospital - usual rule of thumb is if you're filling more than one pad an hour - but sounds like things have calmed down a little.
You might still consider hospital? I mcd about 2 weeks ago and there was so much blood I went straight into a and e. Sorry if tmi but a doc there manually removed lots of stuff to allow everything else to pass, put me on a syntocin drip and I then took a couple of doses of cytotec the next day.It meant more contractions and the heavy bleeding ended I think a bit more quickly than it would have otherwise. All the bleeding more or less stopped ten days later. Hope you are able to have some rest and your mum doesn't annoy you too much - I had such amazing support here, it really helped me through a difficult time

you poor thing - I remember feeling quite disturbed/alarmed/freaked by what came out at the time but afterwards it felt ok, and I DO believe your body gets back to normal more quickly after a nat MC (I have had 2 ERPCs too).

Sorry about your mum too.

Hope you are getting RL love and support.

Totallyfloaty, I think you should be over the worst now, I passed large clot of 'product' and then it all settled down.
I had posted on your earlier thread, and you have dealt with this all so well x

Hi Totallyfloaty35, we were in the same antenatal group.

This happened to me on tuesday night. Very scary, loads of blood etc., and I passed out, Elvis Presley style, on the toilet!

The EPU at the hospital explained that sometimes a bit of 'product' gets stuck in the cervix, which causes heavy bleeding, pain and dizziness. I felt better immediately when they released it.

I also had an ERPC yesterday, which I was very nervous about, but it's actually a very simple, quick procedure. I'd definitely choose that straight away if I was unlucky enough to have another MC.

I hope you're over the worst now. Your scan will tell you if everything has cleared, but please don't be scared of having the op if you need it.

Hello, yes i remember you,in fact it makes me so sad seeing how many familier names are on these types of thread.I am so sorry you lost your baby too.
I feel fine today,no pain,lightish bleed etc.
I really hope that next time round we all have happy healthy pregnancies and get to have our babies.
