Hi,
I have a seperate thread on here about me losing my baby at 17 weeks.
I was wondering if anyone can recommened a website where I can buy a burial outfit for my baby.
I have tried to access www.bonniebbabies.co.uk to no avail.
Thanks.

What sort of outfit did you have in mind? A lot of people choose christening type outfits which you can get quite widely.

Something unisex for a tiny baby under 1lb.
Preferably with a hat.

Thanks greensleeves,
I went on there earlier but I find the website hard to negotitate.
Do you know how I would order an outfit of there?

Try this site, it looks quite easy to navigate

I'm very sorry for your loss.

whomovedmychocolate · 19/08/2010 15:37

This one is very sweet and in the right size

Lollysunshine · 19/08/2010 16:39

It's gorgeous but I won't know the baby's sex until the post mortem results come back next week.
My baby will be laid to rest a few days after so I really need a unisex outfit.

The unisex one is here on he same site that whomovedmychocolate linked to: baby-burial-gowns.co.uk/item_15/Still-born-baby-clothes-Sleeping-ted-style-WHITE-ALL-SIZES-by-Something-Precious.htm

I am very sorry for your loss and wish you courage and strength in the coming weeks.

I have no answer but wanted to say I am so sorry for what you are going through xx

Lollysunshine · 20/08/2010 12:50

Thanks for all you messages and help.
I really want to order soemthing from bonnie babies and give them a donation.
As they are a charity I would rather give the money to them than line the pockets of a profitable company.
But as I said before, the website isn't the best.
I can't even email the founder Debby.
Does anyone have a phone number of email address please?
Thanks.

So sorry you are going through this :(

you could ask someone to knit you something lovely ?

Greensleeves · 20/08/2010 13:00

lolly I can't navigate that website at all, it's very obfuscatory

the only thing I could find was an email for the administrator of the bonniebabies discussion forum:

\link{http://www.bonniebabies.co.uk/forum/index.php?\here} - at the bottom of the page there is a link to "contact forum administrator"

maybe if you emailed and asked them how you could contact Debby or purchase an outfit, they would be able to tell you?

sorry if that is no use, the last thing you need right now is to be messed about Sad

Lollysunshine · 21/08/2010 10:22

Thanks Greensleeves,
I tried emailing that address but it bounced back.
If anyone else knows a charity where I can get my baby's burial outfit from in return for a donation please let me know.

Sorry if it's useless, I feel as though I am making things worse for you by giving crap informationSad

Lollysunshine · 21/08/2010 11:27

No Greensleeves, don't be silly.
I'm really grateful that you have gone out of your way to help me.
I was speaking to my partner and we both agreed we want to obtain an outfit from a charity and make a much needed donation.
I feel very uncomfortable with the websites making a profit from such tragedies.
I might get on to SANDS on Monday if I have no joy over the weekend.

Hi everyone, just an update.
I finally found a personal email address for Debby who runs bonniebabies and contacted her on Saturday.
She got back to me today and has asked for measurements etc and she will send me a selection of burial outfits, via my hospital, for my partner and I to choose from.
She said I can leave the remaining outfits for other unfortunate mums at the hospital.
She is sending me some keepsakes.
Thank you for all your support and assistance.
Debby will be recieving a big donation from me for all her help.
