Anyone used a Magnet-in-yer-knickers device for menopausal symptoms?

Grateful for anyone's thoughts.

I have been trying the Ladycare device for 3 weeks now and would like to swap stories with anyone else.

I'm 42 (with family history of early menopause) and have been in monster-mode for about six months now.

I've just googled it and the survey on the website looks convincing. I'm a teary, anxious, forgetful pre-menopausal wreck these days - am tempted to give it a go, so thanks - I'd never heard of it before. Good luck with it.

Well hassled I deliberately never said whether I thought it was working or not, or whether I thought I'd been stitched up for £23.

But if you are considering, I feel much more 'even', I am less irritable, didn't notice much difference with my (very heavy) period but maybe next time, feel rather more focussed. Feeling more charitable towards dh after 3 months of telling him our 'personal' life was over and we were now just co-parenting the children. And I seem to be losing some weight as am noticing that my c-section saddlebags are not quite so droopy and my jeans were easier to do up straight after they'd been washed.

I was kind of hoping lots of people would come back and pooh-pooh the theory because it just seems too weirdy that having a magnet just below yer belly button makes a difference.

And I've only stuck to one radiator so far.

Wanted to come back to this as I've had another period. Even if no-one interested, the thread will form a useful 'journal' for me to decide if this gizmo is worthwhile!

Had a bit of extreme tiredness for a few days before period (only managed 16 hr days instead of my usual 18!). Was not as moody.
Period began Thurs. Drastic reduction in flow and clots. Had my usual blank 12 hours on Sunday and a light flow Monday and have now stopped. First time in a year or so I've had a normal length period (usually running at about 9/10 days from first spot to last).

Slight weight loss continues. Not so much that people are noticing, but I am.

Still no idea how this thing works. But I'll give it another month and see what happens.
