Am TTC, have been for 8 mths now and since having dd1 15 yrs ago have always fallen easily so am getting a little fed up now.

I'm 43 in couple weeks
Regular 26 day periods, (was 28 days up to Xmas)

stopped bf 8 wks ago

getting pos on OPK's so assumed was ovulating but someone told me a surge doesn't always mean ov takes place.

So... I have 2 fsh mid stream tests, and am wondering when to use them, Is is day 3?

thanks if anyone can help.

err, what's TTC & fsh? Excuse my ignorance but genuinely interested as age 47 and begun to think about menopause.

liahgen · 04/09/2009 20:22

TTC is trying to conceive

fsh is follicle stimulating hormone

Apparantly, the fsh test can tell you if you are nearing perimenopause

yes its day 3

why dont you start temping, as then it would show if you ovulate as well xx
