On the pill but getting PMT for first time

I've always been one of those annoying smug people who'd never had PMT and thought it was imaginary.

Ha. Well, now I'm paying for it. I'm almost 47 and just changed from Trinovum to Femidette last year. Not sure whether it's the change of pill or perimenopause but have changed into a bunny boiler.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

I've just got the GP to move me back onto Trinovum but he said that the pill prevents PMT and the perimenopause.

I'm just rambling really but wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

For the last week before my period I feel forgetful, angry, depressed and basically shit.
