Menopause

Does any one feel the way I do?. I am going through the menopause and I have lost my desire to find men attractive. There was a time in my life when I longed to find a male companion to share my life with, but now I feel it doesn't matter any more. I wonder if the feelings of falling in love with a man and feeling happy, which I experienced before the menopause, will ever return.

Yes, feel exactly the same, slightly unfortunate after 23 years of marriage! At least it's not just DH I don't fancy. See a doctor, apparently it's not just something you have to live with.

well, all I can say is that after 9 months on HRT all my desires have come back- I am like a 16 yr old again!

I seem to keep appearing on the same threads as you, Howtotellmum - obviously the HRT has more than one side effect

Does being like a 16 year old extend to the face and figure?

Sorry to read your other posts about your DH- you have my sympathy. Look after YOU and try to reduce your stress levels if you can which helps.

Thanks for the advice about going to see my doctor regarding a course of HRT, or alternative remedies. It really helps in seriously communicating and getting new ideas from matured persons as your selves. Despite the cat fighting Lets keep to the topic and stop attacking each other, after all we have the same issue in common the menopause.
