night sweats

is this a sign?

am early 40's and on cerazette for 4 years since birth of DS, so no period for yonks.

i wake up every night getting hot and sweaty and i mean every night since at least christmas. is this a hot flush.

Not much that they can do, other than confirm your diagnosis, I suppose.

My GP recommended eating more soy - soy milk, bread with soy or taking soy supplements.

One thing that I have found makes the hot flushes less frequent is to control my carbohydrate intake - especially sugar and alcohol.

oh no not a life without huge amounts of chocolate and wine and only soy yoghurt for fun.

if this is the start of the menopause what should i do about being on the pill, dont want a whoops baby.

Given that the average age of the menopause, according to my GP, is 52, it's probably worth going to see your doctor. Just in case it's anything else.
