Hot Face - Weather or Menopause???

My face keeps getting really red & burning when I get a bit warm and takes ages to cool down. I'm 47 & have been having a few other symptoms for some time (clotting, irregular periods etc). Not sure if it's hot flushes as it lasts longer than a minute or two. Does anyone know if they can go on until you cool down completely (ie 30 mins)? Or if it is what can I do to stop it - it's horrible! Thanks!!!

Your hot face sounds just like I get ! I also get hot neck, arms. Infact it starts at my knees and works up !
I sopke to my Mum as I feel really 'odd', and no-one can see that i am going thru something strange.

I have found a magic diet aid ; MENOPACE ! I started taking them about 2 weeks ago and my flushes have deffo decreased, and infact i can't remember when I last had one ! I am so amazed ! A co-incidence ? maybe ....but i have bought 3 packs and will continue to use them. Boy oh boy, all these years i mocked my Mum for her 'flushes', now i know what it is like !
When you have young kids, the menopause seems like a million miles in the future. i suppose you are just interested in 'The Now'. My kids are older pre-teens and i am thinking more about me. The Menopause is real .
My GP is great ; We discussed HRT, and her opinion is, 'Well, you HAVE to go thru it at some point,be it now or in the future'. I am not convinved about HRT so will try my best to get thru this without it. But if it gets bad , I'll be breaking her door down !
