Switching from Everol 50 to 75 and Utrogetan

Can anyone advise please? I forgot to ask the dr my question so I’ve just asked the pharmacist and they didn’t know. I thought I’d come to the experts instead!
I am switching from Everol 50 to Everol 75 and 200mg Utrogestan. I have two questions.
The first one is that I have three remaining patches of Everol 50 in my box. The pharmacist has said to stop those and replace with the 75 from the next patch (tomorrow). This does make sense to me but wanted to check if this was a common way to do it.
The second question is more complex. The progesterone box says to take from day 15-26. I know that day 1 is the first day of my period. However, over the past six months I have been irregular, one period was two weeks late, the next a week early. What do I do in this case with regards to the days? Do I just take it on a regular 28 day cycle regardless of bleeding, or just wait until I get a period each time and then start counting again from there? This is what the pharmacist didn’t know. I will contact the dr next week but it would be good to know what others have done. Thanks!

Personally I’d use up the three pathes but using 1.5 (cut diagonally) so I had some margin for patches falling off etc.

re: progesterone. Once periods stop you take 100mg daily… you’ll habe to ask doctor.

Thanks @MeridaBraveIm now thinking maybe I should use them up. Also it gives me a bit extra time to get hold of the doctor I guess.

re: progesterone can try taking for 2 weeks out of 4 and see if it regularises your period and if not ask doctor what to do? Gives you some time.

I would just start new patches, cutting up patches is not recommended as not reliable.
progesterone pick a date in the month, take for 12-14 days and then stop. Start again the same date next month. You can’t rely on your own cycle as it will become too irregular.
