Vaginal progesterone....

I'm getting terrible heartburn and acid reflux so want to try taking my progesterone vaginally to see if it helps. (Male) GP said it wasn't a thing so I'm ignoring him and am going to give it a go. I currently take uterogestan orally at night just before I go to bed but I'm wondering if (TMI) see will wash the capsule out! Any experience?

I assume you mean SEX not SEE

You should insert the progesterone after sex.
If you use it beforehand it won't dissolve properly.
You'd have to use it afterwards.

You can actually insert them at any time of day because it's unlikely to make you drowsy like the oral route (my consultant told me this) but you might want to lie down if possible for half an hour to stop it sliding down.

I think it takes several hours to dissolve to you’d have to use after sex. Might be better to use in the morning? I tried using and it didn’t fall out.
