Mirena type coil side effects TMI

Some help would be nice. I’ve had the coil fitted now for two months and after having twenty years off hormones (I’m 50) thought it would be a good idea on a path to HRT. I had regular periods and no menopause symptoms, but think I’ve been suffering in peri for a long time.

So far I’ve been very careful, but the side effects are getting me down. Some will say not related but they’ve all come together and I’ve never had them before:

Boils around bikini area, not resolving
Stye in my eye
Spots (had these about 20 years ago)

I’m sure there are more but I can’t think now. I just feel really minging to be honest. Any happy stories to get me through?

My only problem was light spotting for 6 months.

I had some weight gain (I also felt hungrier) and occasional spots on my face. Also, some spotting for a few months and then my periods stopped. Mine is due for removal early next year. I think I'll go on oral progesterone then.
