day 1 of HRT patch and headaches.

Hello, I put my first ever HRT FemSeven Conti patch on today. I am sure it's given me a headache and possibly some very mild nausea too this evening, is this normal on day 1, does it improve?

That's a normal side effect and ime caused by a sudden surge of oestrogen.

Yeah definitely - stick with it. In my experience the headaches and general shitty feeling went after a couple of weeks. Then I was much better.

Thank you, by 2am I felt very nauseous, ready to rip the patch off. Late last posted in Chat too for traffic (no replies) as I was feeling so bad. Had palpitations too for a while.

It is normal for the first month - after that it may be that you need your dose and/or type adjusted
