Hi everyone,

has anyone tried Ashwaganda? I’m interested in taking it after reading about its alleged positive effects on stress.

Id be keen to hear any positive or negative experiences.

As I am also hypothyroid I’m wanting to also find out more how it interacts with this… as I worry about messing with my thyroid levels and I have heard it can affect this.

thanks!

Nonsense remedy. Sorry but HRT is there for a reason, whether you choose to take it or not is up to you but making people rich for a placebo is just silly.

I take ashwagandha and it works for me, but my sister has thyroid issue and can’t take it.

Unfortunately, lots of us can’t take HRT

I took it for about 3 months and. Priced no difference when I started or after I stopped.

I have found creatine to be very helpful for brain fog and mental clarity.

the high strength stuff did nothing for me. Just another fad imo.

It makes a big difference for me. Less anxiety and stress, better energy.

It makes a big difference for me as well. It reduces my anxiety and helps me sleep

1percentbatterylife · 21/09/2026 20:22

It helps lengthen my cycle, 25/26 days without it, 29/30 with it, which is what I used to be pre peri menopause.
I think it helps with anxiety too, but I’m never sure if that’s placebo/hormones anyway.
I won’t stop taking it anyway!

I found it gave me very strange and very vivid dreams. I always woke up feeling quite unsettled and often exhausted from the complicated dream. I know it was the ashwanganda as I tried it twice for a week or two a couple of months apart. No other effects.

Thanks everyone, it’s really good to hear all the different views. I am going to try taking it for one month, and see if I can see any difference.
