Has anyone had breast enlargement as a side effect of HRT?

I’m 66 and following full hysterectomy I was put on evorel 50 HRT patches. In last year my boobs have increased by two cup sizes. I know it’s not the worst problem to have but I’m otherwise quite slim and I feel so self conscious and I’m losing confidence as a result. I’m not wearing my nice clothes anymore and instead wear loose baggy tops. Had anyone else had this side effect of hrt?

It's very common. The only way to stop this is to reduce the estrogen dose.

You could change from patches to gel and then you could easily reduce the dose or try a 25mcg patch. You might not need a 50mcg patch at 66. Older women often need less.

Yes but they were cysts. I needed to reduce my dose.
