Chest pain after stress during menopause and after increasing HRT dose?

Today I had a a highly stressful morning - huge water leak, from mains pipe, water pissing everywhere - very stressed husband botching his DIY!! ….And I instantly got awful chest pains?

they’ve not really gone away all day, and this evening is very uncomfortable. I’ve had this before a little bit with stress, but not as prolonged as this?

I feel 100% fine otherwise, no sweating/arm pain/tummy pain/nausea/anxiety. Totally fine; just with chest pain, like a twisting pressure right in the middle.

I’m as sure as anyone could be that it’s not a heart attack, I feel like I had an adrenaline surge when the water leak was happening as we tried to fix it, and I haven’t recovered yet?

I’m on HRT, have been for a year. Two weeks ago I upped frok 75mg 100mg patch as my anxiety had been getting worse again, and the increase has made me feel totally normal again so felt like the right decision. Until the incident today and this chest ache.

Does anyone else get this?

Don’t ignore chest pain. Go to local AE to get checked out properly.

Sorry I used the ai title thing and I should emphasise I’m only 42, regular periods, still peri - not ‘menopause’ as the ai thinks I am!!
