Surgical menopause and Libido

Hi, did any of you have your ovaries removed in your 30s and your libido got back to normal with HRT? If yes, what are you on and dose?

I had it earlier this year and GP increased my estrogen dose in July and said I should be patient to see if that will bring it back. The desire is non existent and I'm wondering if it can ever get to the level of desire in ovulation days?

Had my first removed at 25 and the second at 32. After the second, my libido fell off a cliff. Because I subsequently got pregnant (IVF done before the second ovary got taken out), noone took the libido issues seriously and I've had a lot of it being written off as "oh well it's normal when you have a young child". Despite testosterone and changing HRT methods, nothing seems to get my levels moving. I feel dead from the neck down. I have put my foot down with my HRT nurse a few weeks ago and insisted something needs to change and I'm not prepared to live my life at this young feeling like this. She's upped my dose so hopefully something happens.

May I ask what please what specifically she's increased your dose for?
