Nervous about starting Evorel Conti patches during menopause

Hello I'm and mid 50s and 2 years into menopause, I have been given Evorel Conti patches to try I I'm nervous to try them, I suffer health anxiety. What can I expect for the first time? The Dr said I could try Sandrena gel with Utrogestan as an alternative. Any thoughts on this too. Any advice would be very appreciated.

I've been on patches for 4 years now, in May I moved over to everol conti as I was 55, I've had no side effects and to be fair I actually feel a lot better than I have in a long time.
