Are you on HRT?

panic/anxiety was what made me start HRT aged 41. Possibly saved my life, honestly.

Mine was so bad, my stomach was so painful I’m fairly sure I had a stomach ulcer

HRT took a little while to work but the results were miraculous

Get yourself to a menopause specialist GP ASAP x

(not any old gp, make sure menopause specialist)

Hi @Lostribbons I've been given hrt to start. Patch & progesterone pills. I get these adrenaline surges through my body & panic its awful & coincides mostly as soon as my period arrives. I have general anxiety during the days too. Periods starting to change also. Really hope hrt will help xx

@Cbpoppy great, get cracking with the HRT :)

Personally, My periods haven’t changed at all, I think it’s more accepted now you can have peri menopause symptoms increasing for years without significant change to periods
