Fatigue after starting HRT three weeks ago, has anyone else experienced this?

I started HRT 3 weeks ago and am finding it very difficult to adjust. I’m very fatigued. I had a weeks holidays from work last week which I spent at home but still very tired this week. I am on Slynd every day and oestrogel 2 pumps. My job is stressful, as is home with teenagers and I am supporting my father in his 80s who lives alone. Just wondering has anyone experienced this level of fatigue after starting HRT. I didn’t realise how difficult it is to get on HRT!! Any similar experiences starting off on HRT

Yes, same here, 53 and perimenopausal. First month on Slynd and 2 pumps of gel. Doctor hopes that this will reduce or stop the monthly heavy periods that I am finding so debilitating.

I have felt more tired than usual but 15 days in I’m starting to feel better in myself.

Why are you using Slynd? Is this doubling up as contraception?

It's not the usual form of progesterone - most women are offered micronised progesterone.

Progesterone affect mood and it might be worth considering changing to another type.
