I’ve had an isssue with my right hip for over a year now. I saw the GP and the muscular skeletal person at the surgery who just say it was wear and tear. (Not constant pain but I over flexed it and so it now hurts at some angles and if I exercise).
I was told I can still strength train (basic, low level) and run (only 5k) and hopefully the additional strength would improve it.
I then developed a bad right shoulder, again I over flexed it at the gym and it’s just getting worse. It’s been 4 months.
Now in the past week, my left shoulder is really painful, I can’t throw the ball for the dog as it hurts and I can’t undo my bra.
I will get some help, probably see a physio.
But, is it just peri menopause? They mention joint pain. I’m 48. Not other meno symptoms other than slightly rubbish sleep.
Is this just to be expected? Do I just put up and shut up or go on HRT?
