Fezolinetant / Veoza

Does anyone have experiences of taking Fezolinetant (brand name: Veoza) for hot flashes? I really would like to sleep better and can't take HRT.

I am planning to ask my doctor about it. She initially prescribed me anti-depressants, but I'm not going to take those because they badly affect me.

It depends why you can't take HRT.

Some alternatives are contraindicated for the same reasons.

Not actually what I asked.

Does anyone here take Veoza and can share their experience?

Sorry- I thought it was relevant.

So I asked the doctor about this today. She said it's been approved by NICE, but it doesn't mean it's available on the NHS. She said it takes a while to move through the system - expect months or years.

Oh well, I just thought it would be useful to sleep properly at night. Apparently not.

I saw a specialist consultant at a sexual health who is willing to prescribe it to me. She has written to my gp, but as its so new said they may not prescribe yet. In which case I'll go back to her and ask.

I read about it in guardian. Can't have hrt due to breast cancer and two drugs are making me hot. Zoladex and letrozole
