Estradot / Lenzetto (sp?)

I'm having issues with Evorel patches. I don't think I've ever absorbed them terribly well, but recently have had lots of issues with symptoms returning.

I'd like to swap to Estradot, but how bad are the shortages ? Are they always going out of stock?

I don't love gel so was thinking of the spray (Lenzetto?) instead, but have read people find it doesn't work very well ?

Anyone switched brands of patch and found it worked better / more consistently ?

Lenzetto working great for me. Patches didn't absorb well, prescribed estradot but couldn't get it. Lenzetto prescribed and working well for last 2+ years. No residue and super simple and discreet.

I’ve had to change to Evorel because it was impossible to get Estradot.

I was on Lenzetto and didn’t absorb it at all - blood tests showed it wasn’t doing anything. I switched to patches and could tell difference straight away

How long have you been on the patches and do you need to up the dose? I’ve seen a menopause specialist and she upped my dose from 50mg to 75. If you’re on a lower dose I might be inclined to add another half and see how you go with that.

About 18 months-ish. I've been on 100mg patch about 9 months.

I tried 1 pump gel a while back and had the most insane side effects from starting (also much improved sleep), which makes me think maybe I was never absorbing it consistently from the patches in the first place if the difference was that much from 1 pump.

I just really hated the gel, so would prefer not to use it.

I have been ok-ish on the patches until the recent hot weather. They've never fully fixed everything and I can certainly tell now that they're not working properly, so they must have been doing something.

Couldn't some other, more reliable, manufacturer invent an Estradot alternative? I'm surprised there isn't one, there's certainly a market for it.

I think the 100mg evorel patches are just so big they start creasing and slipping, especially in the heat

Thank you that's encouraging!

I've been having issues getting Estradot patches for almost 2 years. Have bought privately, and stockpiled while I was in Spain. I finally managed to get some this morning, only because i'm on the 75s which are less popular than 50/100.

I have heard positive things about Lenzetto.
