Perimenopause and HRT

Question about HRT and perimenopause.

I’m 41 and have been on everol sequi 50 for nearly 3 months with no improvement.

My main symptoms are brain fog, extreme low moods and rage and just general exhaustion.

I just want to feel better I have never felt so low in my life.

I have a follow up appointment with the doctor soon.

What should I do? Change the dosage or try a new form of HRT altogether?

Antidepressants haven’t worked for me so I do want to keep going with the HRT.

Raising 2 children while feeling like this is so hard and my relationship feels like it’s on its last legs because of all of this.

I’m feeling so lonely and lost right now 🥹

You're so young and many young women need a much higher dose.
You could go to a 75 or 100mcgs patch.
That's the next step.

You could try estrogen gel which you can increase slowly ( 2 pumps is the same as a 50mgs patch) but 4 pumps is like 100mcg patch.

You'd need to use micronised progesterone or the Mirena coil alongside.
