Hi, hope you are all well
Do I need to see my GP first before starting a new supplement? I have an appointment booked in two weeks (RE:my finger issue, possibly due to peri-meno), and I wanna know if it's safe to start taking the supplement while I wait?
-- I'm currently going through perimenopause.
-- I've noticed pinkness on my knuckle in the last two weeks. then followed by a tiny, hard bump that appeared a few days ago.
-- A chemist advised me that it might be an early stage of arthritis, rather than a wart or skin issue. (I'm guessing it's Bouchard's node 😩)
-- Just started drinking turmeric powder, but I would also like to try an Equol supplement for menopause symptoms, especially for my finger.
Since my appointment is two weeks away, I was hoping to order and start it ASAP. I am not on any regular meds at this moment.
Is it a bad idea to start this supplement before seeing my doctor??😭
