Do you know if it is because of the menopause, and have you had your blood pressure and potassium levels checked? You might also need an ecg.
I have experienced these too, and it has been taken very seriously by my gp and I have had a lot of support and advice.

Ive had my heart checked and they said it seems fine , i started hrt a thew months ago 100mg progesterone and 25 patch some of the other symptoms have settled a bit but the heart palpitations are becoming more frequent and unsettling . Im wondering if i need to increase doses .

You have my sympathies OP.

I started getting very strong heart palpitations over 4 years ago before I went onto HRT.

The HRT made no difference and the heart palpitations have only just calmed down.

It was just something I ended up having to put up with so I hope you have more luck.

I think this is more common than you think. Had similar, went to GP, wasn’t bothered at all. Did ECG finally, all fine, basically told me it was anxiety. I don’t think it is/was, and the palpitations themselves make me more anxious! I have a friend who’s been like this for 5 years! Neither of us have keeled over get and all other markers fine, so maybe it just is fluctuating hormones.
