Bladder issues utrogestan

I am on Everol 75 and 2 x Utrogestan for 14 days of the month. The 14 days on progesterone are hell. It seems to irritate my bladder, particularly at night and it’s making me miserable. I desperately don’t want to have the coil fitted. Do I have any other options? I am really tempted to sack off Hrt altogether if I can’t fix this. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences please?

I thought there was something wrong with me but it was only when I stopped the utrogestan that I realised it was irritating my bladder.

unfortunately I never found a fix. That wasn’t why I stopped but I never went back on it and my bladder is fine now.

It's very common.

You could try an alternative called Nalvee which is very similar.

Or you could try inserting it vaginally which means it won't go through your digestive system and maybe won't cause irritation.
