Perimenopause at 43 with brown bleeding after a period

I’m 43 and have been perimenopausal for the last few years. Had a period last week but then have continued to bleed brown blood?! Any thoughts, wise women? Thank you.

That would be normal for me. My periods are now lighter and slower so the last few days are always brown.
