Rash with Evorel patches: Did your GP switch you to another?

I'm been on evorel.patches for about 9 months after he estradot shortage. I'm now getting a red rash every time I apply a patch. I've asked the gp to change my patches (via online form) but he's prescribed me hydrocortisone cream first. Is there any point in trying this?

I've read others have developed a rash with evorel. Was your GP happy to switch and were you okay on the new patches?

I get rashes but not every time, maybe 1 out of 3 patches. They don’t really bother me though so just rolling with it.

I’m having the same issue after 1.5 years - I’m going to order Cavilon barrier cream which apparently can help. I get on with the patches otherwise so think it’s worth a try.

(Sometimes I have to remove a new patch entirely as it’s too itchy)

I get a painful rash using Evorel, and also Estraderm (which are horrible to use anyway) . I'm Ok with Estradot, but haven't been able to get any due to supply issues. I've been changed to Sandrena gel instead and seem ok on that.

Do some of the online pharmacies have estradot and you can get the prescription sent there instead of the high street pharmacy? Or is that only for private prescriptions? I think some of the online ones were showing stock of estradot
