Overthinking/Worrying

I’m 52, still having periods approx every 28 days although this has been varying a bit. Once it was 55 days and another month 14 days, so things must be changing.
I feel I am just overthinking and worrying about everything, situations that could happen etc etc
I have never been like this aside from the last 2/3 years, it’s driving me mad.
I have avoided HRT as just wanted my body to go through the process, periods naturally stop and everything back to normal.
I am now reconsidering as cannot get out of this cycle, it’s bringing me down.
Has anyone had success with HRT helping this? If so which type?
How will I know when my body has gone through the menopause if I’m taking HRT?
Thank you

Following as the same. Overthinking is horrible and you probably would benefit from HRT. I have been struggling to find one that suits me.
