When to stop HRT?

Been on it fir 5(?) Years maybe longer. 25 patch & 1 progesterone a night. I'm 61.
Took it originally to help with sleep. Not sure its helping much anymore - magnesium seems to be helping more
Never had a review.....
As its such a low dose can I just stop?

You can stop anytime regardless of the dose.
The guidance is that either way is possible- stopping without reducing the dose, or reducing the dose gradually.

As you're on a patch it would be harder to reduce the dose - presumably you would cut it in half?

You should have an annual review (of any meds used long term) so it's a bit negligent that your GP has never contacted you to do this.

I've just moved to this exact regime. Been on hrt nearly 5 years. 60 in the summer. Helping with my sleep at the moment.
