Is this peri?

I am 37, always had very small periods - light and a few days max. Some pain, but manageable. The last 3 have been a whole new ballgame - bleeding through tampons, pants, jeans and furniture - like a massacre and lots of pain - lasting at least a week. Is this sounding like the start of peri?

Possible, but rather earlier than average. With the pain as well I'd recommend getting it checked out.

It could be it could not. I’d check with your doctor. My cycles changed in my 30s and I got bad ovarian pain (Mittelscherz (sp?) too. So bad that I had a scan of that area.

The bleeding and pain I’d definitely see a doctor. I had similar and doctor just brushed me off. Luckily it stopped after a while. But you can get tablets for it.

Yes could be peri or could be something else, like fibroids! I’d book to see a gp!
