What to expect! Feeling anxious

Good evening,

I’ve been prescribed the Everol 75 mcg patch to try after being on 50 mcg since July. During that time, I was taking sequential Utrogestan, but 8 weeks ago I was switched to continuous, and I’ve been feeling much more balanced since then.

I’m quite anxious about increasing the estrogen dose, as I struggle with health anxiety. What should I expect?

Thank you ☺️

There must be a good reason why it has been suggested for you to increase the dose?
For me, increasing estrogen meant better control of peri symptoms - reduction in feeling angry and miserable all the time and it stopped night sweats and poor sleep.
I know that if I get too much estrogen I get jittery and anxious, but everyone is different.
I notice changes within about a week but it can take longer for things to settle down for other, so give it a good go. You can always go back down to a smaller dose if it doesn’t make things better.

Thank you for the advice.

I was feeling anxious and having mood swings on the two weeks on utrogestan which is why they changed that. They said to give it 6-8 weeks before increasing the estrogen .
