Patch issues - what might causing this?

I recently switched from gel to patch as the gel seemed to stop working.

I went on Evorel 50 about 2 months ago. Initially felt amazing, skin less dry, loads of energy, more sleep.

But this past week I feel absolutely exhausted and I'm getting mild headaches and nausea. Morning anxiety is also creeping up.

Additional info, I was on 3 pumps gel previously but asked to go on a 2 pump gel equivalent to start (Evorel 50). I'm also on low dose Sertraline which seemed to be helping until now.

Are my symptoms likely to be my natural hormone fluctuations? Or has my body adjusted to the 50 patch and I need to move up to 75 now?

I've been peri for 5 years and am on continuous utrogestan.

Following as Im on 100mg sertraline but my doctor has asked me to try stopping HRT as Im 60 and I felt the progesterone was making me feel low.

Op why did you drop your oestrogen dose when you switched to patches?

Because my symptoms and blood test (less reliable I know) both showed v low estrogen levels while on gel e.g. suggesting I was barely absorbing anything.

Rather than jump straight to a higher dose from v low and also to see whether I even needed to be on a 3 pump equivalent at all, I figured it was better to see what happened with Evorel 50 first.
