Ashwaganda and tight chest.

I started taking Ashwaganda a month ago. I think it was helping but I have been experiencing chest tightness and shortness of breath recently which are worsening by coffee. Also waking during the night.

Anyone got experience of this?

I was sort of managing with supplements and excercise but have been feeling more on edge recently

Are you the same poster who was asking, this but with a different username?
You both have the same symptoms and taking the same supplement.

If so, the advice from posters so far is see your GP. It needs diagnosing properly, not online. Either it's anxiety as a menopause symptom, but you also need some tests to rule out anything more serious if you have shortness of breath. Meanwhile stop taking the supplement.

Poster called @dreamiy
I am early 50s and 3 years without my period. I feel my anxiety has increased lately and getting tight chest and shortened of breathing, waking up during the night, more tearful and low appetite.

I thought I was keeping things under control with magnesium, then Ashwaganda and excercise; but don’t know any longer. I did start taking coffee a few months ago to help with low energy in the afternoon. I am having a light one with milk now, otherwise I feel like going to bed.
Considering HRT, but a bit scare It can make it worse.
