I’m mid 40s and had happily been on Oestrogel and Utrogestan for a couple of years. However due to starting WLI I was told that I had to change to patches as the WLI would stop the progesterone from being absorbed properly.
With the Oestrogel/ Utrogestan I would start my period at the end of the two weeks of progesterone.
With the Evorel Sequi, this is not happening. My bleeding is erratic every month. This month I started bleeding two days after starting the progesterone (conti) patches! Last month and the month before were also within a week of starting the two weeks of progesterone.
Does anyone else experience the same? I mentioned it at my 6 month review to be told that it was fine and nothing to worry about but I’m not convinced and I’m missing the predictability of my cycles that I had with my previous HRT.
