New oestrogel bottle and efficacy

Does anyone else feel like the oestrogel in the new more curved bottle doesn't work as well? I feel like I want to kill people today and that fun aspect was previously controlled with HRT.

Oh god have they changed it again? They changed it from a tapered bottle a few years ago to a cyclindrical one, and there was definitely a difference.

Loads of people including me complained to Besins at the time and filled in a yellow form about the change in efficacy and it seemed to get sorted out (that or my body got used to it as I settled down)

@stapletonsguitar - thanks for your comment and good on you for raising it with the MHRA previously! I'll see how it goes. Might have to adjust the dosage myself based on how murderous I'm feeling!

I do better on that shape bottle. I hate when I collect my prescription and it’s the cylindrical bottle as I then need to tweak dosage again. There’s a definite batch to batch variation and it’s actually a disgrace, it really messes people up. I’ve complained twice so far but it goes nowhere. I thought at first I was going mad but there’s been 3 occasions now that it’s happened to me and always coincides with a change in bottle.

I noticed that the gel can go off if it gets too warm, even though it says room temp on the bottles. I always keep it in the fridge now (but if it’s been too warm during transport that won’t help either).
