Has anyone got any experience or knowledge about ovarian sizes and concerns?
I recently had an ultrasound that showed one ovary had a volume of 15cc at ovulation, so a bit enlarged, but had two dominant follicles. So maybe not so unusual. Anyway, apparently this needs follow up to check if it's resolved. Is this just an age thing? (52 with regular cycles). Because I've been into my past scans. In 2021 ovaries were a perfectly fine size. In 2020 I had one that was 14cc but no-one was concerned then.
Why the concern now? Not then? Should I actually be worried? Obviously I will do the follow up at a different time of the cycle.
