Starting Evorel Sequi mid cycle

I’ve just been prescribed these patches and am looking forward to seeing if they help my symptoms (mostly fatigue, joint pain, mood swings and mild night sweats/heat intolerance). I am on day 8 of my cycle and really don’t want to wait until my next period to start, especially given they can take a while to have any effect. Google suggests this is possible if you accept the risk of bleeding mid cycle. Has anyone done this?

Medically, it doesn't matter a jot.

If you have regular periods and want to try and line up the progestin with your luteal phase (which isn't always successful anyway), you could omit the first two estrogen only patches and just do one week of estrogen only then the two weeks of combined patches.
