On HRT but memory still terrible

Hi I’m 54 and I’ve went through menopause about 3-4 years ago and after much trial and error I’m currently on body identical 75mg estrogen patches and 100mg progesterone daily. Majority of my menopause systems are under control and I feel pretty good except my memory is still terrible and seems to be slowly getting worse. I use to have a very good photographic type memory when I was younger but now I feel like my brain is a seive. I work full time in a professional role and I will meet with colleagues and completely forget recent conversations about projects or my teen children will remind me about day to day things they’ve told me recently. When I try and recall my minds just feels blank. I’ll even forget names of books I’ve recently read or people I’ve met. It’s like my brain is foggy and memories are just not there. It hasn’t really affected my life too much just a little at work so far, more feelings of embarrassment, but I’m concerned about my future as intend to work until I’m 60. I feel a bit down about it at times. I have regular health checks and generally very healthy, don’t drink eat well and exercise and never had any health issues. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and is the new normal for me now. Thanks

I think it’s the new normal. I’m on HRT and it hasn’t helped a lot. I regularly struggle to recall words. I tried magnesium L-threonate which is said to cross the blood brain barrier and help, but I can’t say it did. Lionsmane is another said to help.
