HRT ‘ period ‘ question

Sorry I know HRT and menopause has been done to death here but I’m just after gauging people’s experiences on combined HRT .
Im 47, haven’t had a period since last summer so under the 12 months so still considered peri by my GP, and as so have been prescribed combined HRT for flushes / sleep issues .
I have a patch evorel 50 for 2 weeks ( change twice a week ) then go to evorel sequi for the following 2 weeks .
Im only on second month and so far so good , hot flushes have gone completely and my sleep is slowly improving ,
but my question is I haven’t had a ‘ withdrawal ‘ bleed and was advised that I would , quite happy never having a period/ bleed ever again but just wondering how common it is not to? Ladies if it’s not personal could you advise your experience of this please …
GP wasn’t concerned on phone .

I’m not on systemic HRT but don’t you have to add in progesterone in order to have a bleed? I could be wrong x

I think the second 2 weeks worth of
patches ( conti ) contain progesterone

Yes, the Sequi patches are oestrogen and progesterone.

Don't worry.
The reason you won't have had a withdrawal bleed is that your womb lining hasn't grown enough yet to shed.

Everyone's womb lining reacts differently to estrogen. Some get heavy bleeds on HRT, some next to nothing even on the same dose.
The 2 weeks of progestogen stop the lining growing, so you've only had , in effect, 2 weeks of estrogen.

You may find that you have a bleed this month or not for a few months.

I’ve just been to see a menopause specialist and was told that I may not have a withdrawal bleed. It can taper off when your periods would naturally end so you may not have anything to shed.
