How do you go about using the progesterone capsules vaginally please? is it the same dose as orally? What about if you are bleeding presumably you can't use it then? Thanks

It's the same dose. You insert is as high as possible, usually at bedtime.

You shouldn't need to use it when you're bleeding.
If you use sequential HRT with a withdrawal bleed, that starts after the last dose of micronised progesterone , which is 12 or 14 days per month. If you bleed earlier, than you need to use it orally.

If you're on combined continuous HRT that is bleed-free suitable for women post menopause.

Are you on HRT now and has your GP suggested this or is it something you'd like to do?
