I am 47 and usually have a period every month like clockwork, sometimes a couple of days early, but otherwise on time and lasting 4 to 5 days. This month I have experienced the regular cramps, mild nausea etc but no period arrived yesterday. I am never late. I'm wondering if this is a sign of the menopause. Do periods just stop one month, then appear another month until they eventually just stop?
