Are HRT patches practical if I wear tights every day?

I am new to HRT i am awaiting my call from the doctor to decide which is best for me - i have a really silly question regarding the patches, i've read it has to be worn under the waistline and not be restricted however I wear tights everyday to work, are they ok under tights or should i request a gel etc?....

I have patches and tights are absolutely no problem at all. But then I wear big knickers that come up over where the patch is anyway!!

They are very sticky so won’t come off if clothing rubs them. In fact, they’re so sticky that sometimes they leave a residue ‘tide mark.’ That really is the only issue!! They are marvellous

I wear patches and tights most days. They stick absolutely fine 99% of the time. I seem to get a rogue one every few months that peels off and goes for a spin in the washing machine, but I’ve never associated that with tights.

I don’t wear mine on my stomach because I was finding it painful to pull off ( I have some loose skin there ) I wear it on my bum or thigh. Bum generally then it’s covered by my swimsuit. They do fix very firm and I can’t see waistband being an issue
